CON: you have to create an account just to see what they offer and view templates. Animoto and Vimeo Animoto PRO: Have creative templates, you can add music, and easy to use. CON: limited on templates, bland options, and lacks features Animoto and Vimeo Vimeo PRO: people use it as YouTube due to little ads, easy to use, and you can sort out videos or films. CON: you have to create an account in order to see the site, low visability on presentations. Powtoon and Focusky Powtoon PRO: shows videos to create templates and use of animated characters in slides CON: accessing to website was not quick enough. had to use different search engines. CON: limited features, no transitions, and takes forever to load images Slideboom and Tellagami Slideboom PRO: easy to use, can download presentations, and can store presentations. CON: you have to pay monthly fee for upgrades and limited time to edit slides Tellagami Slideboom and Tellagami PRO: similarities to Bitmoji Classroom, you can create your own person, and effective for teachers and students. CON: not recommended for any student in a classroom setting and students can share them through social media which can cause implications. Keynote and PowerPoint Keynote PRO: Apple product friendly and security based protected. CON: Only works for Apple inc. products. Keynote and PowerPoint PowerPoint PRO: most popular presentation software, quick and easy, and easy to download anywhere. CON: costs money, outdated, may run into technological problems, and lacks creativity. Flowvella and Google Slides Flowvella PRO: easy and simple, web-based, you can drag files. CON: only works for iOS on Mac, iPhone, and Ipad, Google Slides Flowvella and Google Slides PRO: you get free cloud storage, you can access it anywhere, it's free, easy to use, and all-access based tools CON: not many templates to use, needs internet access, security risks, and needs a google account How would I use this in the classroom? How might I use this to engage students I would use this presentation mode in my classroom because it has many advantages to present topics. Such as the template I used for this presentation, I would want the students to use Prezi to create an All About Me presentation on paper and transfer it in PREZI Mode. They would have questions to answer, such as their name, age, the city they were born in, their favorite color, etc. I would also give them extra points for being creative, utilizing pictures, media sounds, and other creative things, searching the Prezi engine. ISTE standard ISTE Standards I would use media and technology since we are teaching 100% of the time virtually due to COVID-19. So, whether we are in classroom or not technology is our main source of teaching. How could you use this software to address more than one learning theory? Three theories would be the following: Cognitive informative processing Behaviorism Constructivism How could you use this software to address more than one learning theory? So, considering I am using PREZI, I would benefit from Constructivism because it would be the knowledge that the students would gain from learning different lessons created and shared with Prezi.
