PRESENTATION HELL

Transcript: PRESENTATION HELL Insert Subtitle Here Circle 4 Who would be better? She gave us advice at the beginning of this project, and she will be the one to guide us through Presentation Hell! Here is a Prezi, a YouTube video, a poster, a symphony I composed, a sculpture embodying the Divine Reason, an interpretive dance and an entire novel I wrote based on three years of observation. Explanation of Sin: Presenters who just copy and paste what is supposed to be their original thoughts and ideas, and steal them from Wiki or Google, are bound to wind up in Presentation Hell. These students do not know how to be original or creative, so they fill up their p owerpoint slides with GIGANTIC paragraphs in the smallest font, to make it seem like they know what they are doing. This is looked down upon in presentation hell, because… Well come on people, TRY! This sin is in the first circle because, Hey! At least they tried! However, too much information on one slide can make for a boring presentation and is frowned upon. The punishment in this circle is mild compared to the others. The meaning of life and all of the future is written in extremely small writing along the walls of the circle. The sinners are packed in like sardines and are continuously moving in a circle so that they miss details of the explanation. The text itself would take an eternity to read, but the circular movement ensures that they will never finish. This is put as the punishment because as they forced people to read small text and be continuously confused, they too will spend eternity in constant confusion. Reading off the screen whence presenting is just a sad deed. Seriously, people. Didn’t you have two minutes to memorize your two lines? . The most horrible thing in the world is a bad class presentation! The creators of these inadequate presentations are put into a specific place in the afterlife: Presentation Hell. Wood Burning Fire

This is because, the chimney uses a vacuum effect to suck up all the smoke and there by some of the heat and so the heat is pulled to the room with the fireplace and there by cooling the rest of the house. Smoke is a collection of tiny solid, liquid and gas particles. Although smoke can contain hundreds of different chemicals and fumes, visible smoke is mostly carbon (soot), tar, oils and ash. Smoke occurs when there is incomplete combustion (not enough oxygen to burn the fuel completely). In complete combustion, everything is burned, producing just water and carbon dioxide. When incomplete combustion occurs, not everything is burned. Smoke is a collection of these tiny unburned particles. Each particle is too small to see with your eyes, but when they come together, you see them as smoke. Wood is made up of: Water, Volatile organic compounds – a compound is volatile if it evaporates (becomes a gas) when it is heated, carbon, minerals in the tree’s cells, like calcium, potassium and magnesium (which are non-burnable and become ash). Smoke and Ash After the fire has been burning for a while, most of the hydrocarbons (gases and smoke particles) have been released, and all that is left is charcoal, which is almost pure carbon with some minerals. The hot charcoal slowly burns with a red glow. There are no flames because charcoal will only produce carbon dioxide, which cannot be burned any further, unlike other vapors. Very little smoke is produced at this stage. The quicker a fire is reduced to glowing charcoal, the hotter it will be and the less smoke it will produce. The carbon combines with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide until all that is left at the end of the fire is the ash – the minerals. Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a group of over 100 different chemicals that are formed during the incomplete burning of coal, oil and gas, garbage, or other organic substances like tobacco or charbroiled meat. PAHs are usually found as a mixture containing two or more of these compounds, such as soot. Some PAHs are manufactured. These pure PAHs usually exist as colorless, white, or pale yellow-green solids. PAHs are organic compounds containing only carbon and hydrogen. Most of the chemicals in a wood burning fire are the same as the the chemicals in cigarettes. Fine particulate matter, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and dioxin. Wood Burning Fire When the wood reaches about 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius), the heat decomposes some of the cellulose material that makes up the wood. Some of the decomposed material is released as volatile gases. We know these gases as smoke. Smoke is compounds of hydrogen, carbon and oxygen. The rest of the material forms char, which is nearly pure carbon, and ash, which is all of the unburnable minerals in the wood (calcium, potassium, and so on). The char is what you buy when you buy charcoal. Charcoal is wood that has been heated to remove nearly all of the volatile gases and leave behind the carbon. That is why a charcoal fire burns with no smoke. Carbon, Hydrogen, and Oxygen are some of the more common elements in a wood fire. Heat Distribution Works Cited Charcoal

Then they get their punishments determined Fucifer By Gabi Rutan Philosophy Murder/Manslaughter= Eternally getting destroyed by Fury over and over Rape= The burning of the genitals and eternal torture Robbery=Hands burned off and body hung over fire Kidnapping=Fury takes you to their lair and you are their servant Other sins= Fire rats attack or fire ants Fury's Lair Planet Fucifer Planet Fucifer is where sinners go. Instead of an underworld, they are sent to a fiery, volcanic planet to suffer an eternal torture from the ultimate fire monster named Fucifer(figure on the left) or getting eaten from the volcanic four-legged monster named Fury(figure on the right) Description of the Planet When the souls are first delivered, they have to go through a pit of savage volcanic lions, then once passed, there is an enormous fiery land for miles. Every few miles, there are traps such as the rat pit and fire ant pit where some sinners are sent. Then Fury's cave, and volcanoes surrounding it. There are no buildings or places to sleep, it's all fire, lava, rocks and magma. Every soul is either being hung, tortured, or waiting for their punishment walking along the fiery land Fucifer's domain is within the volcanoes surrounding Fury's cave Fury's Lair has a walkway of bridges over top of a river of lava. There is a large area where he sleeps and gets tended to by his servants. If his servants don't do as told, they get thrown into it and have to stay there until he lets them come out.
