Transcript: Free Verse Background Life in Rural West Virginia The foster care systems is a temporary arrangement, in which an adult(s) take care of a child or children while their birth parents aren't able to care for them. Many people think that the foster care system is where juvenile delinquents end up, but its a place to help children get proper care. Some negatives to foster care, is that their is a lot of emotional, physical abuse that may have occurred so the child may be scared or have behavioral problems due to it. Some positives to foster care are, it gives a hurt child a home and place to live, therefore you are helping a child get proper care and love, Bibliography Foster Care System The people of Rural West Virginia have been isolated from the mainstream of American life. Residents there, use an "Elizabethan" speech, not used in modern day America. Most towns in Rural West Virginia are very poor, so many families don't have proper food and housing. Another affect of the poverty, is there is many fatalities from drug abuse, and suicides. Dangers of Coal Mining Some on-site dangers are, suffocation gas poisoning, roof collapse, and gas explosions Deaths from coal mining are more frequent in less developed parts of the world. Many deaths are caused by the poor air quality from working in the mines. Rising Action Topic 3 The rising action is on pg. 59 when the kid gets the urn in which Violet Park lays.He found it in a cab office. He asked his grandparents to have her urn in their house, and long story short, they said yes.So they called the cab office and they said yes.Later in the story though she got a concussion and he replaced the urn in Bob's house. Climax Topic 4 The climax is on pg. 131 when an argument starts between two kids and an adult, which really kicks the story up to high notch!After the argument, they decided on having all stuff of dads thrown out.Though, at the dump, the kid decided to not help and have his mom do all the work, though the crew from the office came to help her. Falling Action Topic 5 The falling action was on pg. 169, where the kid figures out that, on a tape, Violet asked the kid's dad to die.It was a section when, on a tape recorder, she got to ask him questions.When he realized that she wanted to die, he slammed his fist on the tape recorder. Resol-ution jjjjkjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj The resolution of the story was on page 201 when the kid sent the urn to where he thinks his father lives.Violet had a fake son named Orlando, so he thought that hismdad was in Orlando.He also put on the back "His dads name 1993-2000" so he would know his family member sent it to him.
