Transcript: Animagus Wormtail ORDER OF THE PHOENIX Padfoot Sirius Black III, also known by his nickname Padfoot, was a pure-blood wizard. Sirius attented to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1971 to 1978 and was the first in his family to ever be sorted into Gryffindor instead of Slytherin. There he met James, Remus and Peter and they became best friends. Later on, Sirius became the godfather of Harry Potter and was framed for the murder of 12 muggles and for breatraying James and Lily. Sirius was sent to Azkaban for twelve years, eventually becoming the only known person to escape the prison unassisted, by transforming into his Animagus form of a massive black dog. Sirius exposed Pettigrew's treachery to his old friend Remus and his godson, Harry. After Lord Voldemort returned in 1995, Sirius rejoined the Order of the Phoenix. He was killed by his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries, and subsequently cleared of all charges by the Ministry of Magic. James Potter, also known as Prongs, was a pure-blood wizard. He attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1971 to 1978, and was sorted into Gryffindor house. James became best friends with Sirius, Remus and Peter, and they created the Marauders Map. James was also a bully and bullied Severus Snape because he disliked him and his behavior, also because Snape was obviously in love with Lily and spent most of his time with her from childhood. Sometimes, James bullied Snape solely for the purpose of entertaining Sirius. James started dating Lily in his seventh year at Hogwarts, they later got married and had a son named Harry Potter. James and Lily were members of the Order of the Phoenix and fought in the first Wizarding War. Later, James was murdered by Voldemort in 1981, along with his wife, while trying to protect their son. The Marauders (James, Sirius, Remus and Peter) were Animagi.
