Growing membership New executive board New campus events- Game night, Ice cream social, and a Mixer Democratic voting system that allows memeber to have a voice. Accepting of all people. Building alliances It is an LGBT organization. It was created as a safe zone for all members. All FSU students are welcomed. Their goal is to inform and discuss challeging issues facing the LGBT community. No known image. No slogan. There is no strong representation of the club on campus. Recruting new members and keeping new members. Lack of support from other organizations When does Spectrum meet? Is Spectrum about accepting yourself or discussing current issues? How does Spectrum protect it's members from unwanted attention? The organization primarily appeals to students on campus who identify with the LGBT community, but the organization also appeals to people who consider themselves allies of the community. Spectrum attracts people who just want a place to hang out and be themselves and,because of that, the organization has a certain appeal to these specific groups on campus. The purpose of the group is to let students at Frostburg feel like they have a safe place to go.
